On September 23, 2022, the first A320neo aircraft cooperated by BOCOM Leasing and China Eastern Airlines (CEA) was successfully delivered at Airbus (Tianjin) Final Assembly Co., Ltd.

This A320neo aircraft is the first A320neo aircraft introduced by CEA under direct lease from BOCOM Leasing, and is also the 600th aircraft assembled and rolled out by Airbus in Tianjin. It is provided to CEA through the Project Company established by BOCOM Leasing in Lingang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone under an operating lease. The A320neo aircraft is a new generation of mainstream narrow-body passenger aircraft, which will help the airlines further improve operational efficiency, reduce fuel consumption and fulfill its commitment to low-carbon and sustainable development.

Meanwhile, as the first aircraft leasing project launched by BOCOM Leasing in Lingang Special Area, the successful delivery of the aircraft is also a good interpretation of BOCOM Leasing continuing to give play to its home advantages in Shanghai, actively fulfilling its commitments under the agreement, deeply promoting the leasing project, and constantly accumulating strength for the development of China's transportation industry, as well as promoting the construction of "five centers” in Shanghai after signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the Administrative Committee of Lingang Special Area at the end of 2021 and landing the first SPV cross-border container leasing innovation project in the financial leasing industry in China.
