Recently, BOCOM Leasing, together with Guangxi Branch of Bank of Communications, has invested RMB 1 billion in the leasing business of Guangxi Communications Investment Group Corporation Ltd. In this project, ETC equipment is used as the leased property, and the leasing funds are used to pay for the ETC project.

Guangxi Communications Investment Group Corporation Ltd. is responsible for the management and construction of major expressways in Guangxi. The ETC project construction is an important initiative of Guangxi to implement the national Guidance on Promoting the Construction of New Infrastructure in Transportation and is an important element of intelligent transportation infrastructure construction. In recent years, the transportation and construction related enterprises in Guangxi have thoroughly implemented the new mission of "three orientations" and the new requirements of "five consolidations" given by the General Secretary Xi Jinping. They are striving to build a new pattern of all-round open development featuring "south orientation, north linkage, east fusion and west integration" to help Guangxi strengthen its traffic guidance and accelerate the improvement of transportation quality and efficiency. It is understood that from January to June this year, the total investment of expressway projects in the Region was RMB 90.2 billion, up 14.6% year on year. Guangxi plans to complete 11 expressway projects in 2022. By the end of the year, the mileage of expressways in the Region will exceed 8,000 kilometers, so that expressway is accessed to each county in the Region.

This year, BOCOM Leasing has invested RMB 1.7 billion in leasing funds for Guangxi Communications Investment, actively supporting the intelligent construction of expressways in Guangxi. The smooth implementation of this project fully reflects the sense of responsibility of BOCOM Leasing to thoroughly implement the requirements of the Group and effectively support the service of new infrastructure field, and further demonstrates that the Company has helped Guangxi basically form a "six horizontal, seven vertical and eight branch lines" expressway grid that covers the whole Region, and connects the Pan-Pearl River Delta and ASEAN countries, which will strongly support the economic development of Guangxi.
